1. Baby Jogger City Tour Double

The City Tour 2 Double is the smallest double stroller within the Baby Jogger range. It's designed for travel, and fits through standard doors easily due to its ultra-narrow shape. It's also among the lightest double buggies you can find that weighs just 14lbs when folded. It's perfect for trips with a toddler and infant since you won't exceed airline luggage allowances. It can also be folded into the size of a small travel bag so you can store it in the back of your car.

It's simple to fold the Z-shape with one hand. Once you get used to it, it is compact and can be folded in a matter of just a few seconds. Our tester found the auto-lock a little confusing, and because the handlebar doesn't lock in the position you push it into to the side, it struck her leg when she used it. She also felt that the handlebar was a bit on the short side, especially with a big changing bag hanging off it.

As opposed to other light travel buggies that aren't loaded with features. It's one of the most comprehensive double strollers that are available. It's compatible with two carry cots (available separately) and offers multiple recline positions, and an UV 50+ canopy. You can also add the bassinet to either or both seats to transform it into a travel system.

The four tires made of rubber are great for pavements and urban terrain. However, they're not designed for off-roading. They had trouble with gravel and long grass and there was not enough clearance between the wheel bracket and the wheel which meant that mud could get stuck easily. Our tester loved this vehicle and was able to climb beautiful muddy hills.

It's not as easy to use on public transport as it requires two hands to hold the handlebar. It's also quite bulky and won't fit into a standard family car boot with the seat in place, but this can be overcome with some careful planning. iCandy include a footmuff, changing bag and car seat adapters in the price, making this an excellent value for new parents.

They also loved the fact that the hoods could be moved back and forward making them easy to adjust in the sun or to provide wind protection. Our testers did discover, however, that they did not provide an extensive amount of coverage as something like the Baby Jogger City Mini hoods which is why it's worthwhile to pack a rain cover just in case.

Overall, our testers were impressed with the way that the Nipper Double made it possible for them to take their twins Sydney and Lyla to all sorts of adventures, from spotting wildlife in the woods to rushing to the park for a quick playdate. The testers were also awed by how spacious and comfortable the two seats are. There's plenty of room to stretch out for growing toddlers. Our testers did mention that the lack of parent-facing seating and the inability to use car seats in the buggy was a disadvantage, and they would have liked to have more storage space for shopping and other gear.
